A stray cat got doused with chemical drain cleaner by a man tired of having strays hanging around his restaurant. Employees called the police when they discovered the poor creature in a cage!

Not only did the owner admit to what he’d done, he boasted that he’d done horrible things to lots of other cats!

Below is a translated FB  post of an article from a local French newspaper:

The owner of the pizzeria Castle in Brissac -Quince, is suspected of acts of animal cruelty. He will appear in January before the Criminal Court and faces up to two years in prison.

Infuriated by the many cats that roamed around his establishment, the restaurateur decided to trap them.

He even boasted to his employees to torture.

On Wednesday night, these employees discovered a seriously injured cat in a cage in the courtyard of the restaurant. They immediately informed the police.

The cat was taken to the SPA , but had to be anesthetized.

The restaurant owner admitted he sprayed the animal with a product for unblocking drains.
